The Detroit Recreation Department is preparing for the 31st Annual Detroit Senior Olympics (DSO) to be held June 16 – 17, 2015 (rain date June 18). The Detroit Senior Olympics draws competitors (age 50 and up) from the Metropolitan Detroit area and is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for person interested in sports, social games, arts & crafts and baking.
The Detroit Recreation Department is seeking mature volunteers to assist in setup, greeting athletes, athlete check in, result compiling and clean up.
As a volunteer you would receive one (1) box lunch each day, an official DSO T-shirt, a certificate of volunteer and an invitation to DSO banquet.

Bowling Tournament (Minimal knowledge of bowling tournament scoring is helpful) | 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
